Hi everyone! We have been so busy that we haven’t had time to post for a while. We are very proud to share the news that that children are moving from their extremely basic accommodation into a new home this week. They are moving from a minute house an hour from Kampala in a very rural village to a modern house with running water, flushing toilets, bath/shower and electricity! They will have a walled garden to play in and the cook will have a real kitchen!
The school will also be housed on this site. We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the amazing support from the recent fund-raisers as 8 months rent have been paid upfront to secure this new property. We plan for the children to live there until the new campus is built, for which we have very basic artists impressions starting to take shape.
